Ferdinando Ragone (1994), known online as Ferdirago, is a self-taught photographer based in Nocera Inferiore, in southern Italy. Alongside his photographic practice, he works as a senior graphic designer. His work grows from a desire to observe and document the reality around him, searching for beauty in the margins and in the slow passage of time. Drawn to people and their stories, his photography focuses on faces and lives that exist outside conventional standards of beauty. Guided by empathy and curiosity, he is particularly interested in individuals who carry visible traces of their experiences — expressions, gestures and silences that reveal something deeper. Through photography, he aims to capture and preserve these fragments of humanity as visual memory.
